Nicolas Rivers believes that the pursuit of shared meaning across diverse thought will be one of the most defining factors of our future.
Working at the intersection of long-term thinking and leadership, his focus is on creating frameworks and experiences for people to understand and address complex topics, while simultaneously building capability to communicate and lead effectively. Nicolas frequently designs and facilitates city-shaping conversations across government, industry and academia, including the Future Transport 2056 Strategy led by Transport for NSW.
In 2012 he set out to bicycle around the earth with his wife, from which he is on a brief sabbatical while raising two daughters. If Nicolas was a brand, Patagonia would be it. He won’t eat an animal he hasn’t personally killed and has been striving for a minimalist lifestyle for more than 8 years.
